Some takeaways from our results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"slow\" style=\"font-size:30px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Workplace Tech is Slowing Employees Down<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Annoying time-wasters topped the list. In our survey, employees complained of slow websites (35%) and being interrupted by restarting the computer (28%), a task which can take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes depending on device age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When employees need help, traditional support models could be causing slowdowns. Why wait for a dispatched agent, when remote resolution can solve the problem faster?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"blog-link\">Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we recommend businesses offer support through several channels and let employees choose. Aim for self-sufficiency for most tasks, while also enabling access to <strong><a href=\"\/employee-and-technology-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">helpful support<\/span><\/a><\/strong> wherever and whenever it\u2019s needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tech\" style=\"font-size:30px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Corporate Tech is Too Old<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The older the device, the worse the experience. More than a quarter of survey respondents (26%) say it\u2019s difficult to access resources when working from home \u2014 such as app libraries or internal sites that require connecting to the company\u2019s network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s a problem if businesses want to prioritize flexible work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"blog-link\">For a successful hybrid workplace, we encourage leaders to focus on delivering <strong><a href=\"\/employees-want-convenient-technology-experiences\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">consistent and equitable digital employee experiences<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, regardless of location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ex\" style=\"font-size:30px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Not Investing in Employee Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"blog-link\">The most cited problems aren\u2019t even that complex \u2014 yet they add up to <strong><a href=\"\/new-survey-from-compucom-highlights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">more than an hour and a half of lost productivity<\/span><\/a><\/strong> and an average of 20 interruptions a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Compucom CMO Heather Lockhart explains, &#8220;employee experience is directly correlated to customer experience.
