IT departments \u2013 already stretched thin \u2013 will <strong><a href=\"\/tech-pros-need-love-too-6-do-and-donts-to-show-more-it-appreciation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">feel the strain<\/span><\/a><\/strong> as they juggle complex user support and security needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"risk\" style=\"font-size:30px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Increased Risk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"blog-link\">Employees will find workarounds to bad tech. Cybersecurity risk increases when employees use personal devices for work, something <strong><a href=\"\/hybrid-employees-send-a-shocking-amount-on-tech-for-work\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>two-thirds of our survey respondents<\/u><\/a><\/strong> admitted to doing to compensate for not having the workplace tech they desire.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"talent\" style=\"font-size:30px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Loss of Talent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The buildup of daily technology frustrations eventually kickstarts job searching; in our survey, 41% of employees said they would switch jobs if offered a position with better tech. If ignored, that could lead to losing valuable employees and a tremendous cost to replace them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"impact\" style=\"font-size:30px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Impact on Customers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Most importantly, employee experience and customer experience go hand in hand. Being a dependable partner to customers means having dependable tech.
