People can work faster, collaborate seamlessly and stay connected wherever the job requires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, he says, managing and \u201cenhancing EX has become the most sought-after approach\u201d for enterprises, especially those with hybrid work models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"research\" style=\"font-size:30px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">What the EX Research Says About Tech and Retention<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Tech also significantly impacts how employees feel about their jobs. An outstanding technology experience is really important to today\u2019s employees \u2013 it\u2019s now a need to have, not a nice to have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"blog-link\"><strong><a href=\"\/new-survey-from-compucom-highlights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Our\u202fown survey research<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u202fshows that most employees highly value their workplace tech; almost 9 out of 10 (89%) enterprise employees agreed that satisfaction and retention would increase if employers invested more in their own technology and support.\u202f\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"blog-link\">Employees also are 230% more engaged and 85% more likely to stick with a job beyond three years if they feel they have the technology that supports them at work, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2022\/02\/in-a-hybrid-world-your-tech-defines-employee-experience\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">according to research from Qualtrics<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"blog-link\">And if employees don\u2019t feel supported? <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.computerworld.com\/article\/3643335\/technology-is-to-blame-for-the-great-resignation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">They\u2019ll likely quit<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. Tech frustrations have led many workers to start job hunting; in our survey, 57% of enterprise respondents claimed to have switched jobs or applied to other work because of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That means the pressure is on for leaders and IT teams to adapt and deliver the tech experience employees want and need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ex\" style=\"font-size:30px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600\">Enhancing the Employee Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s the next step? Measuring and enhancing the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"blog-link\">Instead of focusing on traditional service level agreements (SLAs), enterprise IT organizations are now beginning to understand and increasingly adopt <strong><a href=\"\/experience-level-agreements-explained\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">experience level agreements (XLAs)<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cAs enterprise IT leaders frame strategies to enable remote and hybrid working, there is a huge opportunity to measure [employee experience] with workplace technology using telemetry-based data,\u201d<\/em><strong> <\/strong>says Rai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cQuantifying employees\u2019 experience with technology and leveraging it to improve the same is the most sought-after service today,\u201d says Rai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Compucom, we know that experience matters.
